Allan died aged 83 years in Rotorua Hospital after suffering an accident. He passed away surrounded by his loving family and friends. Loved husband of Winsome Birtwistle, father of Mark, Bruce and Sahra Birtwistle, grandfather of Fallyn, Beau, Xavier, Truman and Riley. We will miss him so much, as will his friends at the Masonic Lodge. A Service will be held to celebrate Allan’s life at St Luke’s Anglican Church, Amohia Street, Rotorua, on Thursday, 8 April, commencing 11.00am.     He always expressed how proud he was of all his family. I will miss our talks and his smile and cheeky sense of humor.
