You were a great provider
Not once did we go hungry
You worked to put a roof over our heads
You gave us a good education
You were a fountain of knowledge
Even though you had very little schooling
The gardens were your pride and joy
They made you happy especially when you and mum gardened together
Like peas in a pod 75 years together
Wow pop they don’t make marriages like
That anymore
Remember pop you were always loved
I am proud to have been your daughter
Will always miss you pop
Maria
Sorry to hear about the loss of both Louis and now Girlie. Very long term friends of my parents, Jim and Hettie Hayes. Like the Keyworths, the friendship went back to Russell, Walker and Bidios Road days and earlier. Both Girlie and Lois and came forward when Mum passed away a few years back. All the best from Jack, Roly, Helen, Janet, Kate and Peter Hayes. Aroha all the Bidios friends and whanau.
