At Osbornes Funeral Directors we are committed to providing
ongoing care and support to our bereaved families.
When someone dies, family and friends can find it difficult to cope with the tremendous grief they experience and can be unprepared for important decisions and arrangements that need to be made. Grief is our natural response to loss in our lives. There is no right or wrong way to grieve and people have different ways of grieving.
Osbornes Funeral Directors understand the needs of family and friends going through the stress of a bereavement.
At Osbornes Funeral Directors we are committed to providing ongoing care and support to our bereaved families.
We can offer a listening ear and a support person to talk with who can help you in your grief and loss. Grief takes time, and we recognise this and offer you, or immediate family members, a complimentary support service with our bereavement counsellor, Raewyn Hammond.
We can also provide contact details and information regarding supports groups, agencies and library resources, which are available within our community to help you through this time.
Any member of a family who has used Osbornes Funeral Directors for the funeral arrangements for their loved one can use this support service. We will contact you a few weeks after the funeral to see how you are coping, however if you wish to speak with us before this, please feel free to do so.
Raewyn, who has many years experience assisting the bereaved, is available free of charge through Osbornes Funeral Directors to listen, answer questions, provide support and assistance and help people understand their grief through this difficult time.
